About Us

Christian Women's Job Corps Cherokee County chapter  was established May of 2024. Our mission is to equip women with job skills and life skills in a Christ-centered environment. We help prepare unemployed women for the job market, as well as help the employed keep their jobs. We recruit volunteers from the business community to assist in teaching classes. Our Community Garden project is designed to provide produce for the community and to teach participants how to grow food. When families have the

knowledge and skills, they have control over

supplementing their household food purchases,

increase their overall buying power, income stability

and promote healthy eating habits.
